In the Middle of Somewhere by Roan Parrish

3.0

This was very exhausting. Beautiful, the story and the relationship and how Rex and Daniel continue to open up to each other while muddling through it all. But exhausting. It was long and repetitive and tiring to hear Daniel's inner monologue. The family pain is intense. I wanted this book to end sooner.

I don't know if I'll read the rest of the series if am honest! His brother sounds awful, I don't know how he can be redeemable.

I couldn't pin point why this book was this exhausting, but after reading the reviews, I remember why. It's because Daniel doesn't sound 30, or a professor. There's a difference between having trauma and being in Denial, and acting immature.

I kept changing this from 2 to 3 stars, and back and forth! I think the last part in the book, it makes it a little better. And I wanted to know what happened with his brother.
