Graphic: Gun violence, Sexual content, and Murder
Moderate: Sexism
Nico makes an unnecessary rape joke.
Oscar also falls into the stereotypical mold of Latino drug dealer with no development, in addition to being ‘the bad guy’ because he was a creep to Elena when 99% of the male cast are creeps in general—and much worse than him. I also did not like the way Lori described Oscar’s Colombian accent. Colombians have four different accents, but, regardless, the paisa accent in particular is actually one of the prettiest accents in Latin America (to me), so for Lori to describe his accent with such negative connotations is weird and unnecessary.
