The Midnight Feast by Lucy Foley
dark
slow-paced
- Plot- or character-driven? A mix
- Strong character development? No
- Loveable characters? No
- Diverse cast of characters? No
- Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated

Birds are not real.
This book is a masterclass in how to write an idiot plot.
Your telling me that none of these people recognized these people after all of this time especially if they where that close… utter nonsense.
This book is so stupid the plot twists where predictable and mystery a straight line.
This is my last Foley book all of them are the same. Vapid empty people being stupid for 2/3 of the book followed by a predictable plot twist ending that only work since the other characters are too stupid to notice.
