Holy Smoke & Mirrors!!
Cunning is the title of book 2, but it describes the antics of characters from Montague Manor to Manhattan. Wow!! Alex’s stepfather Alton is the definition, but her mother’s betrayal is merciless. The dog and pony show of Georgian elite would tip my scales of frustrations. I’m definitely team Alex in this book and hope the ending is her beginning of everlasting happiness. The next five books will certainly be filled with twists and turns only a gifted author and storyteller like Aleatha can deliver. Looking forward to many hours of reading into the wee hours and anticipating Alex’s future.
