I do this weird thing where the more I dislike a book the faster I can read it to get it over with.
The moment the two main characters broke up about halfway through the book it was too much a sign the ending would in some way have them not break up.
I just didn't like anything about this book, but I'm also someone who reads fiction mostly for mindless reading between heavier non-fiction books, so I guess in a sense I liked the escapism of it.
While I'm someone who could be considered a hopeless romantic I was rooting against Aidan and Clare the whole time, especially Clare. There was just nothing to make me like any character in the book, except the dog Bingo. He was cool I guess.
