The Bromeliad Trilogy: Hardback Collection by Terry Pratchett

Started this to remember Terry on the day he passed away (was happy to realise I still had an unread Pratchett for the occasion!) I half expected to like this less than Discworld because apparently it's seen as a children's novel and it is one of his earlier works, but I absolutely loved it. Here and there I saw a metaphor where I know he would've been able to formulate something even sharper in later years, but overall this very much felt like the Pratchett I know and love. While about nomes, it contains so many reflections on what it means to be human, on human nature and science versus religion, the meaning of life. Definitely not just for kids. And, of course, brilliantly funny throughout. #GNUTerryPratchett
