I have this soft spot for zombies and in a weird way, they excite me. The thought of zombies in a "wonderland" setting really excited me. I wasn't disappointed.
Alice lost her whole family. All of them. How freaking sad is that? Not only did she lose them all, but she had to witness the accident herself, and be the only one who survived. So when she finds out why her dad acted the way he did for all those years, she wanted to stop it.
Then comes Cole. Sigh. Their first initial introduction kinda made me roll my eyes. Cause we all make out right off the bat right? I won't lie, it took me awhile to get used to Cole, but he did eventually grow on me. Okay, so he really isn't that bad.
It was a really good story though and I enjoyed it. It had its surprises and drama in all the right places. I look forward to what's going to happen in the second installment ;)
