Secret City by Julia Watts

5.0

I loved this book. The writing style was clear and concise. I also thought the author captured the time period and the place, because it was a very distinct place (Oak Ridge, Tenn.) very well. Having previously read The Girls of Atomic City, I was somewhat familiar with the story behind that city, and what women endured while living there. As for the characters, I thought they all seemed very authentic, and the budding relationship between Ruby and Iris seemed real, and not completely out of left field.
