This was a fun, light novel and exactly what I needed. There were some romance cliches that I wasn’t a huge fan of, the main character seemed to be willfully not understanding things at times, and couldn’t put together clues into people and their situations for the life of her, but I still enjoyed the read. As someone who has worked as a tavern wrench at a renaissance festival, parts of it felt very true to life. Of course, the one I worked at was a real one, not a school fundraiser, so mine has a lot more drunk old man groping you, but other things still rang true. If you’re looking for a light read to relax with, I’d recommend this own fore sure.
