Wow, I did not expect to be this underwhelmed. I loved the setting, would have liked to see more of it, but I didn't connect with the main character, nor her love interests, nor any character, really. I thought our main character was a wet rag, the political intrigue not that intriguing, the love not that fiery. All very meh for me, alas.
