“But all at once I decide that you can’t be brave unless you’re at least a little scared.”

This was so cute. It was a super quick and cute summer read. I loved the NYC setting. I loved the whole concept of a blackout out happening. I loved all the interconnected stories. The representation in this was amazing, but even aside from that the stories were great. I just love how each author brought their own unique writing style and different stories to this book. I did find myself more interested in some stories than others, but that’s bound to happen. I think my favorite was Mask Off by Nic Stone. Tremaine and JJ were just really cute. Overall, I really liked the vibes of this book. It was the whole idea that anything could happen with all these young characters in a once in a lifetime event, but it also touched on some deep topics which I really liked. I just wish we had more time with these characters.
