NOW WE ARE BACK ON TRACK BABY! cause whew has this series taken me on a goose chase. some may call it too long. some may say it should have stopped after book 2. some may say books 3 and 4 were like pulling teeth. and to those people, I turn to my theatre training and I say YES ANDDDDD if not for the rain (books 3 and 4) we wouldn't be able to appreciate this FUCKING RAINBOW (book 5). this is the core elements of the series at its best. it is that which made me fall in love with the story. it is the kind of adventure mixed with love mixed with twists and turns that made me like the 2nd book so heavy. it is characters fully realized and like a PURPOSE TO WHY THEY WERE THERE and no weirdo previously nonexistent villains and just bliss all around. i LIKED THIS GOD DAMMIT. it was good. it was truly good. like as far as kids lit goes? 4.5 stars no notes baby
