So I keep getting these intense flashes from a tv show: a female doctor in an underground facility, the female doctor on a motorcycle with her brother, the janitor from the underground facility. And I can never remember what tv show these images are from. That's because they're not from a tv show, they're from this book.
I read this book nearly a year ago, and yet my memory insists I watched a limited run show. I think that says something about O'Connor's ability to write descriptively enough that your brain can picture it completely. That doesn't happen with every book.
