I fell in love with hope by Lancali

5.0

to say this book is the best book i’ve ever read is an understatement.

i know lancali has put so much into this, so i will put as much as i can back into this review.
i would recommend this to anyone, even my greatest enemy.
it has taught me so much and made me cry like i never have before. i’ve been made out to be cold and emotionless, but this book proved everyone who has ever agreed with that statement wrong.

i’ve always loved lancali’s work, from opposites to parallels and now to this absolute work of art.
whether i’ll now treat life as comedically as Sony, as carefully as Neo, as irresponsibly as Coeur, as sparingly as Hikari or as solemnly as Sam, a piece of them all shall always reside in me.

i always treated time as a privilege, but now i am even more grateful of the fact i can live my life without worrying about what others have to deal with.

this book didn’t make me believe in love, no book ever will, not even the words i put on my own papers will. this book made me believe in the power that some people hold, whether they use it safely or not.

to save someone’s life is one thing, but to raise someone from a tough spot is something else. and lancali has done just that for me on this day.

lancali,
thank you for the heaven that came from me reading this book
