A white guy falls in love with a mysterious girl who’s always just out of reach of understanding with a face like an unsolvable puzzle that also reminds him of his mother? Sounds like every relationship with a man with mommy issues ever. The magic part was pretty cool but my god was this a tough read like wtf is the point of this book? Freud wins yet again 😔 also spoiler warning

but the only character I liked was the dog and he dies for the worst main character I have ever seen. #justiceforthedog
