Batman: Detective Comics, Volume 9: Gordon at War by Tom King, Peter J. Tomasi

3.0

The first story in this about the serial killer with the masks was enjoyable because it actually brought the "detective" into the Detective Comics. Also, his wall of masks reminded me of the House of Black and White from Game of Thrones so.. there's that. I just really enjoyed the mystery.

The other story in Afghanistan was dumb. There just wasn't anything there. No mystery, no intrigue. Just Bat-Gordon and his old squad fighting a random mummy. The art was good, and if there had been more backstory it might have been interesting, but meh.
