Brideshead Revisited
by Evelyn Waugh
I loooovvvvve this kind of book, and I’m so glad to have this particular one in my life now. It’s pretty much like everything I read for pleasure in my teens and twenties: old-timey rich English people having old-timey rich English drama. If literature is comfort food, “Brideshead Revisited” is my mom’s surprise potatoes, and I want a second helping. Very Austen. Much Fitzgerald. Gimme more.
