When I finished [b:Vegan, Virgin, Valentine|295117|Vegan, Virgin, Valentine (V Valentine, #1)|Carolyn Mackler|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1173476693s/295117.jpg|843533] I didn't realize there was a sequel. But I saw there was on Goodreads and that it was available at my library, so I picked it up. Then, I didn't realize it was about V, not Mara. I wasn't sure if I'd like it since I didn't really like V in the first book, but since it was short I figured I'd give it a shot.
I thought it was pretty cute! Pretty expected, but I liked the writing (although a little risque at times, not sure how young I would let my kid read this); it was funny at times, and at times poignant. I really felt like V had made a huge breakthrough by the end of the novel. I read through this in about a day. If you've read the first book, definitely read this one too!
