I read Olivia Dade’s 2nd book “All the Feels” before I read this one and I loved it! The spice, the connection between characters, the body positivity. It was a great book with a BBW main character that I hadn’t read about before.
But this? Idk what this was. I am halfway through and not liking it. In audiobook format, I can’t keep up with the conversations between the main characters. There’s a lot of fanfic acronyms that I don’t know about and the dialogue feels a bit weak to me. It’s trying to keep up with being woke or something. Maybe in book format I’d be able to understand the dialogue more. But this doesn’t feel the same to the 2nd book and thankfully the writing gets better on the 2nd, in my opinion of course.
