Wayfinding: The Art and Science of How We Find and Lose Our Way by Michael Bond

4.0

I will admit I did find the structure of the book a little odd to follow at times, but I truly enjoyed reading this and learning more about how we navigate, why we navigate, and what happens when we do (or don’t). So many nuggets of information that made me really think about the importance and “wildness” of wayfinding and how I should incorporate that into my life! My favourite chapter was the first chapter on names and navigation, although I was really quite distressed when I read the chapter on people being lost and never found... Altogether, I’m glad to have read this and will consider getting a copy of it for myself, which is high praise!
