Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky

5.0

This book has some peak comedy moments ngl. Yes, I came for the philosophy but I stayed for all the wonderful quotes that I will be adding soon.

Also don't tell me that almost every single character is first seen either in or in front of Raskolnikovs appartment isn't just plain hilarious.

(What was confusing was the names: Pyotr Petrovich is also called Luzhin, and almost all characters have like 5 different names. If you understand the Russian naming system this might make sense, but I don't, so it doesn't.
