Star Wars: Cobalt Squadron by Elizabeth Wein

3.0

3.5 💠

I enjoyed Cobalt Squadron. It was a good edition to The Last Jedi timeline. I loved getting to know Paige and Rose and the Bomber Squadron more. It made me wish that they could've been utilised more in the SW movies.

I enjoyed the storyline. It did feel somewhat repetitive in parts however briefly. Nevertheless, enjoyable and could've made a good episode in a pre-Last Jedi series similar to the animated Clone Wars series. I particularly loved the cameos by General Organa and Vice-Admiral Holdo as it is set just days before The Last Jedi and just as The Force Awakens wraps up.

Enjoyable but I wanted something more from Elizabeth Wein. I saw similarities with Code Name Verity which I had previously read from Wein. I wanted something more from this. Q
