I have read this book many times, but I still love it.
Atticus is visited by revenge-seeking acquaintances and strangers who want to get even with their enemies. However, the druid must deal with new local threats while educating her apprentice Granuaile and protecting his loved ones.
The Celtic goddesses want our protagonist, who could be a valuable ally, on their side. Coyote, a mischievous Native American god, also turns up to take on a demon. Meanwhile, witches, Bacchanal women and kabbalists are causing mayhem.
In the second book, we can expect more humour, action and paranormal conflict. We are in for another unforgettable adventure with the last druid, his faithful dog and his enthusiastic apprentice.
