The Throne of Fire follows up the story of its prequel well, it isn’t completely perfect. There is a lot of rehashing of what happened previously and the end of the book feels rushed after the long lead up to the main turning point of the story. I still really love this book and the nonlinear romantic subplots it introduces along with adding all new characters. The hints of Percy Jackson connection are always fun to see.
