Thought I Knew You by Kate Moretti

5.0

The book starts with a great hook~ a trustworthy, family-loving husband has gone missing during a business trip. We follow Claire as she takes charge and investigates the disappearance of her husband, not trusting the detectives to bring the quick answer she expects from her steady, dependable husband.

Only Claire finds out he's anything but steady and trustworthy. Claire uncovers a part of her husband he kept well-hidden, making her wonder if she ever knew the "real Greg." Along the way, Claire comes to rely on the childhood friend who has never let her down: Drew.

The story doesn't take the easy way out, wrapping things up in a neat and tidy bow. It throws some tough decisions Claire's way, and I felt like the plot twists were not only unexpected, but also realistic in how Claire handled her options. A great book!
