Beg for It by Megan Hart

1.0

It didn't give what it was supposed to give.
The blurb is also quite misleading. It talks about Corrine having done everything - from girls to boys to drugs and even toys all in apparent high funky fashion. We get none of that. Corrine is a tired 42-year-old divorced mum of two who is worried about her children and career.

Even in the flashbacks to her past (flashbacks which were quite confusing in the beginning), all Corrine does is work at the diner, study, and pay her bills - the only 'fun' she has is with Reese and just Reese.

I also didn't like how she kept referring to him as 'her boy'. Felt quite gross and a little pedophilic. I don't think anyone would be excited if the roles were reversed and a man kept referring to his female partner as 'his little girl'. *shivers in disgust*

Also.... What's up with the slapping?? Just... No. I'm sure there are other ways to punish someone without slapping them across the face

Their relationship dynamic was pretty confusing too. It felt as though Corrine wanted a servant with benefits and not a fully fledged partner.
The ending also made no sense whatsoever
