My Life So Far
by Jane Fonda
I recently met her as saw her speak, which led me to read this specific one of her works and not only do I have a totally different view of her, I have a different view of myself and where I want to go from here.
Yes, there was name dropping galore and even she eventually admitted that she realized that, like a chameleon, she changed with each husband, but there was the entire story of her Vietnam activities and what she has done to address, what turned out to be a thoughtless moment, since.
She has courage yet is insecure at times. She wants to create a lasting change but knows that she does it best on a micro level. She's honest, funny, entertaining, heartbreaking, introspective and so many things that I didn't foresee. I'm grateful that I got to see her and that I read the book, now it is time to figure out how to wow people with my third act, as she suggests.
