You know? This book was even better than Golden's love story of Sayuri
I could truly feel how hard mineko tried to make the reader understand Japan's traditions and the way Gion worked, I became so consumed by the story telling that now that I have finished the book I feel slightly empty, I wish I new more, I wish I could see her dance and perform the tea ceremony.
I guess I will have to keep reading about Japan's ways to really understand a lot of situations that Mineko went through
