This was an original, exciting and powerful read which effectively tackled many difficult topics. The character and plot development are convincing and kept me coming back for more. While there is a slow start, the plot soon picks up and is definitely worth the wait.
Graphic: Violence, Suicide, Child abuse, Racism, Racial slurs, and Slavery
Moderate: Colonisation and Death of parent
Minor: Animal cruelty and Bullying
