Archie: Varsity Edition Vol. 1 by Mark Waid

I picked this up because I adore Fiona Staples and liked it more than I thought I would. It was interesting to see some real conflict between characters and hopefully this series continues in an upward trend. I did notice that Veronica bothers me just as much in this series as she did in the other comics and Betty is hovering on that line as well. I'm super sad that it doesn't look like Fiona Staples is continuing on with the artwork but I'm curious to see how the next volumes play out.
