The second Italo Calvino book I have read (first being If on a winters night a traveler), I thought it not as good as the first but still an immersive experience.
I feel some of the scientific names were lost on me, therefore I felt as if I didn't quite understand to my potential of the story. However, I loved how I felt that I too was experiencing every event that the main character did. That I was time travelling, but not watching someone else's memories but my own.
