Daisy Miller by Henry James

3.0

“He was inclined to think Miss Daisy Miller was a flirt - a pretty American flirt. He had never, as yet, had any relations with young ladies of this category.”

I’m honestly at a loss as to what to think of this book. I enjoyed it, but I didn’t absolutely love it nor absolutely despise it by any means. It is exceedingly middle of the road for me and I honestly can’t explain why. I enjoyed the concept and the characters, but I was never intrigued enough to be gripped page to page, more I just wanted to see how the characters ended their individual stories.

Overall, decent, nothing spectacular, but nothing horrible, either.
