Hoodtown by Rafael Navarro, Christa Faust

4.0

This book is a delightful, sexy and violent noir novel where the protagonist just happens to be an aging ruda luchadora with bad knees and a checkered past in and out of the ring.

The fictional barrio of Hoodtown is created with a blend of Japanese, Mexican and Los Angeles in the mix that make it really come alive.
