In My Mosque by M.O. Yuksel

5.0

This book took me to the time when I was a kid. Even the illustrations gave me a nostalgic feeling. How we, the children, running around in the playground, got distracted when we were praying or reading Qur'an, being fascinated at how adult thumb their tasbih. Really, it made me feel warm! Oh, and how I love the way the writer end this book. She accentuate that mosque is a place where you can find joy and peace and everyone is welcome in it. And by this line, she wanted to tell us to live harmoniously with our brothers and sisters from other religions too.

“In my mosque, we pray for peace, love, and joy. . . Just like my friends who worship in churches, temples, and synagogues.”
