I did like this book, and I have one criticism for it: why was the only main poly character written as abusive, jealous, ‘greedy’ and manipulative? sam obviously abused julia but it’s problematic for the poly rep to be so, as there are limited good representations of poly people. sam didn’t have to be poly in this book, and i question why the author decided the abuser had to be poly. why does this narrative continue in media?
other than that it was a good rep of the lgbt community if a bit basic.
