Yellowbird and Jellyfish have been two of my favorite poems since I discovered Andrea’s work in 2013.
To this day I write this quote on the back of pressed flower bookmarks to gift to strangers and friends alike:
“A doctor once told me I feel too much
I said so does God
That’s why you can see the Grand Canyon from the moon”
This collection is full of queer, activist, loving, and vulnerable energy - all things I know I can trust Andrea’s writing to bring to the table.
