The art is gorgeous! It really brings the story to life. It feels like watercolor, the way it flows. I did not know anything about or even of Jovita Valdovinos until I came across this book on Libby. I am glad I picked it up. I am definitely interested in reading her memoir, Jovita la Cristera: Una historia viviente.
