Faith is still dealing with the death of her father when she gets another surprise. He left the entire Washington Wolves football team to her. How was she supposed to take over his pride and joy when she had no clue how to. Luke kept his circle small and made sure to show up for his daughter. As the quarterback for the Wolves he has dealt with a lot of unwanted attention over the years and he just wants to keep his daughter safe from it all. Except he soon learns his grumpy attitude towards his new neighbor was a little unwarranted, especially once he finds out she’s the new owner of the team. Grumpy single dad, determined independent Allie must find a way to get over their terrible first impression.
