Lauren and Clay were friends. Sure they both had feelings for each other that they weren’t expressing or acting on and they bickered like siblings because they had known each other forever, but they definitely didn’t hate each other.
It was fine. I enjoyed the workplace setting the most since their jobs were interesting, but the relationship development between Lauren and Clay was just okay.
