This one has a great premise. Unfortunately, it just doesn't do enough with it.
I started off liking the main character but by the half-way point, all I wanted to do was shake her. She was whiny and preachy and lacked any self-awareness whatsoever. It is one thing to write characters with this set of flaws and then tell a story where they make efforts to get over it and another completely where the author basically just shrugs it off and says that "she is what she is". This story is the latter. The heroine makes the same mistakes again and again and again and still gets the guy in the end for her trouble.
I will give it this, it is pretty light-hearted and sweet. If you don't mind a heroine who doesn't have any self-reflection or growth and like your heroes story-book (no pun intended) perfect, then you will love it. There are moments that are genuinely funny and overall it is well-enough written, but not enough for me to make it a recommend.
