The Air War by Adrian Tchaikovsky

4.0

While I enjoyed this book, for large parts of it I found it difficult and distressing to read as we get descriptions of war and tactics that recall the real world closely enough that we can't help but be horrified. But I appreciate the depiction of war not as something glamourous. The events here do allow us an outside perspective on Stenwold in particular, whose actions can be rightly seen by many as war mongering no matter how necessary.
