Cemetery Dance by Douglas Preston

4.0

Another in the long-running PENDERGAST series. This one starts out strong with the death of a major character (no real spoiler -- it's on the dustjacket) and is actually one of the more compelling of the series. Although the denoument requires a pretty major suspension of disbelief, this is a crisply written whodunit with all of the usual Preston/Douglas trappings. A hint of the supernatural, multiple plot twists, and engaging protagonists make this one well worth your time.

Recommended.
