The Amazing Spider-Man: Flying Blind by Dan Slott, Emma Ríos, Mark Waid, Giuseppe Camuncoli, Kano, Humberto Ramos

3.0

I read this for the Daredevil Omega Drive storyline, and I have great news! If you just want the complete Daredevil Omega Drive story, you don't have to ride this. The preceding issues in this collection are boring, badly paced, and just killing time between Spider-Island and the Omega Drive story. And while the [b:The Punisher, Vol. 1|13528708|The Punisher, Vol. 1|Greg Rucka|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1348673113l/13528708._SY75_.jpg|87070388] stories are an enjoyable introduction to Frank Castle's world just before the Omega Drive storyline pulls his character in, this volume adds literally nothing to the story. Save your eyes and time.

Now, if you're reading this because you're reading a bunch of Spider-Man stuff, bad news. The beginning of this volume is still mediocre and unncecessary. Worse, the back half features Daredevil, and it's incredibly apparent how much better Mark Waid is at writing Daredevil than Dan Slott is at writing Spider-Man. Also how much better Mark Waid is at writing Spider-Man than Dan Slott is at writing Spider-Man. I suggest you give up on the Slott Spider-Man run entirely and just move over to the Daredevil run. You'll be glad you did.
