Pride and Premeditation by Tirzah Price

I had to keep reminding myself that this retelling is just that, a retelling, not the original. I knew I loved the original but realized just how much through reading this. I did enjoy the way that certain characters got their comeuppance, especially Collins and the way that Price handled the romance, much more like how Austen portrayed it than how Price handled the romance in book three, Manslaughter Park. If you go into the book expecting the original, you'll be disappointed but if you set expectations correctly, you're in for a ride.
