Mexican Romeo and Juliet with Mariachi! Yes, please! Two families, two mariachi bands, and one competition to prove who is the best. Now, Mariana and Angelo have to figure out how to stay loyal to their families while staying true to themselves and the feelings growing between them. I truly enjoy this story. Mariana is the typical Latina older sister, always looking out for others. Yet, she is strong and independent. Angelo is an “all-around nice guy” who would do anything for those he loves. This is a swoony love story full of music and culture.
