Dear Elizabeth by Sarah Ruhl

2.5

This play and its poetry are beautiful. If this were able to be a live play it would be breathtaking. However, I just never got into it. There were some funny lines but the way in which the letters are used, to mimic dialogue, confused me at times and I dont quiet see Ruhl's vision for most of the play.

(I read this as part of the 2022 storygraph genre challenge)
