Along Came Spider by James Preller

4.0

Perceptive though brief. Appreciated getting both Spider's and Trey's POV in different chapters. Sports action well described. longtime friends as they grow older and differences become more apparent.

Satisfying resolution: Trey has some new friends and so does Spider, but they're still friends with each other. People can have unsuspected gifts. And some people are kinda jerks.

I liked the metaphor that Spider uses: a chair, even a stool, needs more than 1 leg.
