nancf 's review for:
The Jungle Book: Mowgli's Story
by Rudyard Kipling
I swear that I wrote a review of this book previously. Where did it go?
I enjoyed reading the story that I knew only through the Disney movie that my son loved when he was small. My interest was futher piqued by reading The Tiger's Wife.
This was a beautifully illustrated edition as well. I need to remember this the next time I need to buy a children's book as a gift.
Uncle Gerry wrote, when I told him I was reading The Jungle Book:
"I am glad you discovered The Jungle Book. Those wonderful stories of Mowgli and his animal friends make great reading. I read my own copy at least once a year and sometimes more than once. They never grow old but are always interesting - like meeting up with old friends."
He also recommended Kipling's Kim, which I will add to my TBR list!
