A simple story that does a great job making it clear that it takes place in a video game world. While definitely a product of its time, the heroes are all fun and the villains are all over the top evil. Even knowing next to nothing about the DragonQuest franchise, I enjoyed this book.

Additionally, this edition is well put together with fantastic color chapters included. It definitely feels like a solid step above your standard manga volume.
