Dirty Love by Meghan March

4.0

I really enjoyed this conclusion to the Dirty Girl Duet. Dirty Love picks up right where the jaw-dropping cliffhanger left off, and it gains steam from there. Speaking of steam, Dirty Love is aptly named. You need to have a fan, cold shower, change of panties, or something on hand because Cav speaks dirty talk fluently, and this little gem is one dirty, dirty, dirty, panty-melting read. I mentioned it’s dirty, right?

Anywho, I thought the plot in Dirty Girl was rather thin, but Meghan March ups her game in this book. Cav and Greer take time to get to know each other better, but it’s far from smooth sailing for the pair. They must determine whether they have a future together despite dealing with trust issues, Creighton meddling in their love life, and more secrets. There’s quite a bit of humor included that breaks up the erotic and more dramatic moments wonderfully.

Some interesting plot crumbs were dropped in the first book that I feared had been swept away and forgotten. Instead, in Ms. March’s capable hands those potentially missed opportunities are used to build one absorbing treat, complete with a fabulous plot twist. The epilogue is especially satisfying, and it left me smiling.

I’m hoping Meghan March has more Dirty books up her sleeve. Banner, Greer’s sassy best friend, certainly deserves her own story, as do a couple other characters.
